We are currently recruiting for:

  • 2x Prosthetics Technicians
  • 1x Crown & Bridge Manager
  • 1x Implant Technician

These Dental Technician jobs in Blackpool are open to experienced professionals at different levels, from strong hands-on technicians through to established technical leaders.

Dental Technician Opportunities in Blackpool

Prosthetics Technicians

We are looking for two experienced Prosthetics Technicians with a strong background in removable prosthetics.

You will be responsible for producing consistently high-quality work across dentures and other removable dental restorations, working accurately to prescriptions and agreed turnaround times.

The ideal candidates will have strong bench skills, excellent attention to detail and take real pride in fit, function, finish and overall workmanship.

Experience within a busy commercial dental laboratory would be highly beneficial.

Crown & Bridge Manager

We are hiring an experienced Crown & Bridge Manager for a hands-on technical leadership position.

This role is ideal for an experienced Crown & Bridge Technician who can lead technical standards while continuing to contribute directly to complex cases and production.

You will oversee quality and workflow within the Crown & Bridge department, support and develop other Dental Technicians, troubleshoot complex restorative cases and work closely with the wider management team to improve consistency, turnaround times and production standards.

Experience across digital dental workflows, CAD-CAM, milling, ceramics, zirconia and other fixed dental restorations would be highly valuable.

Previous leadership experience through management, supervision, mentoring or technical training is required.

Implant Technician

We are looking for an experienced Implant Technician with a strong understanding of implant restorations and complex restorative cases.

You will support the planning, production and quality control of implant work, working closely with clinicians and the wider dental laboratory team to deliver predictable, high-quality outcomes.

Experience with full-arch implant restorations, digital implant workflows, CAD-CAM, milling or dental 3D printing would be particularly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on your role and area of expertise, your responsibilities may include:

  • Producing high-quality dental restorations to prescription and deadline
  • Maintaining strong standards across fit, function, occlusion, aesthetics and final finish
  • Carrying out quality control and helping reduce remakes
  • Troubleshooting technically complex dental cases
  • Communicating with clinicians and laboratory partners around case requirements
  • Working effectively across traditional and digital dental workflows
  • Supporting smooth handovers between scan intake, production, finishing and final quality control
  • Using or working alongside CAD-CAM, milling and 3D printing technologies
  • Supporting urgent, complex and fast-turnaround dental cases
  • Mentoring and developing other Dental Technicians where relevant
  • Helping improve laboratory workflow, consistency and turnaround reliability

What We Are Looking For

To be considered for one of these Dental Technician jobs in Blackpool, you should have:

  • Proven experience as a Dental Technician within a commercial dental laboratory
  • Strong technical skills within prosthetics, Crown & Bridge or implant restorations
  • A quality-first approach and excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to work accurately to prescriptions and deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Confidence working within a busy, modern dental laboratory environment

For the Crown & Bridge Manager position, previous leadership experience through management, supervision, training or mentoring is required.
