NC Programmer / CNC Machinist

We are recruiting for an NC Programmer / CNC Machinist to join a highly advanced manufacturing environment specialising in additive manufacturing and precision engineering.

This role is primarily focused on CNC programming, with additional hands-on machining support to ensure programs are effectively implemented in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise CNC programs using NX CAM or similar
• Validate programs to meet engineering specifications and tolerances
• Troubleshoot programming and machining issues
• Support machine setup, tooling selection, and process validation
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and revision control

Requirements

• Strong CNC programming experience (NX CAM, Mastercam or similar)
• Hands-on CNC machining background
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Desirable

• Multi-axis machining experience
• CAD/CAM integration and 3D modelling
• Lean manufacturing knowledge
• Experience with additive manufacturing

Working Environment
