We are recruiting for a General Manager Quality to join a rapidly growing advanced manufacturing organisation delivering end-to-end metal manufacturing solutions across additive manufacturing, CNC machining, and serial production.
Supporting customers across aerospace, defense, satellite communications, commercial launch, and energy sectors, this position will take ownership of site-wide quality activities while driving compliance, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the site quality leader across customer, supplier, and internal quality activities
- Lead and improve quality systems, procedures, and documentation
- Maintain compliance with AS9100D, ISO9001, and NADCAP requirements
- Manage corrective actions, non-conformances, audits, and quality reporting
- Support contract review, quality planning, and manufacturing documentation
- Lead root cause and corrective action investigations (RCCA)
- Drive quality metrics, performance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure customer requirements are achieved
- Lead and develop quality, shipping, and receiving personnel
- Promote a proactive quality culture focused on prevention and operational excellence
Requirements
- 6–10 years of quality, QA/QC, or engineering experience within aerospace or advanced manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, and/or NADCAP standards
- Experience managing quality management systems and compliance activities
- Knowledge of non-conforming material processes and corrective action methodologies
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within regulated manufacturing environments
Preferred
- CMM programming and inspection experience
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience
- Previous leadership or team management experience
