Application Engineer II – Pumping Solutions

Job Type: Full-Time

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Application Engineer to support the delivery of engineered pumping solutions for customers across a range of industrial markets.

Working within an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) environment, you’ll collaborate with engineering, sales and operations teams to provide technically compliant solutions while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Size and specify pumps and motors to meet customer requirements
• Review customer specifications and ensure compliance
• Produce technical quotations and proposals
• Prepare ETO documentation and project information
• Create Bills of Materials and part numbers
• Support order entry for bespoke customer requirements
• Work closely with Engineering, Sales, Purchasing and Project Management teams
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Deliver exceptional technical support throughout the customer journey

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Five years’ combined experience within Engineering, Production, Technical Support or Customer Service
• Minimum three years in a technical engineering role
• Experience interpreting engineering documentation and technical drawings
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office, CRM and ERP systems

• Technical proposal development
• Engineer-to-Order manufacturing
