    The overview

     

    When we partnered with Kensington360 to hire a Chief Revenue Officer, the experience was very thorough from the start. Phil and the team took the time to align closely with us on the key factors for the role, skills, background, and even the right industry fit. Together, we refined the job description and built a clear candidate profile, which set a solid foundation for the search.

    For senior or highly specialized positions, a retained search made sense, as we knew we needed a very specific skill set and wanted dedicated time and focus to find the right person. Our expectations were high, and they were definitely met.

    Phil’s knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies is impressive. I’ve worked with him before in the 3D printing sector, and even though I’m now in a more industrial space, he adapted easily and found excellent technical candidates.

    Despite the UK–US time difference, communication was smooth and proactive. It never got in the way of progress. The whole process moved quickly and efficiently.

    The successful candidate has met our high expectations so far and fits well within our culture, which was a major factor in our final selection.

    I can’t say there’s anything Kensington needs to improve, if anything, I’ve learned how to work even better with them. Providing early feedback and example profiles helped accelerate the search, and the team were always receptive and adaptive throughout.

     

    Overall, it was a highly professional and effective partnership. Kensington delivered exactly what we needed in a challenging, high-level search.

     

    The result

     

    K360 presented around seven or eight strong executive candidates, and we narrowed these down through screening interviews and board-level discussions. Ultimately, we were able to secure our top choice, who’s proven to be a great fit both culturally and in terms of capability.

     

    Phil built genuine relationships with candidates and did an excellent job balancing the needs of our company with what the candidates were looking for. That’s not always easy, but he managed it really well.
