We are recruiting for an Additive Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading advanced manufacturing organisation specialising in LPBF metal technologies for aerospace, defense, and high-performance industrial applications.
This position will support customers and internal teams throughout the full manufacturing lifecycle, helping optimise designs, processes, and production outcomes for complex metal additive manufacturing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess component designs for additive manufacturability
- Provide DfAM guidance and technical recommendations
- Support quoting, project planning, and production execution
- Develop build strategies and post-processing workflows
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams
- Support customer reviews, trials, and technical discussions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across AM processes
Requirements
- Experience with LPBF metal additive manufacturing
- Strong understanding of additive manufacturing processes and workflows
- Experience within aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing sectors
- Ability to interpret CAD models and engineering drawings
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable
- SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or similar CAD experience
- ERP/CRM experience
- DfAM expertise
