Applications Engineer

Location: Hebron, Kentucky

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 DOE + Annual Bonus

Relocation Assistance: Available

Travel: Up to 50%

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to support customers across North America by developing machining processes, delivering technical demonstrations and providing expert applications support for advanced CNC machine tools.

Working alongside Sales and Engineering teams, you’ll play a key role in helping customers maximise machining performance while supporting installations, training and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop machining processes for customer applications
• Support machine demonstrations and technical presentations
• Assist with machine installation and optimisation
• Deliver customer training
• Create process plans and technical documentation
• Work closely with engineering and sales teams
• Support tooling selection and machining optimisation
• Travel to customer sites throughout North America

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in CNC machining or Applications Engineering
• Strong CNC machining knowledge
• Experience with 5-axis machining preferred
• Siemens NX experience highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 50%
