Calibration Technician

We are working with a well-established metrology and calibration services business that is looking to add a Calibration Technician to its growing team in Owatonna.

This is a hands-on role covering both in-house and field-based calibration work, with most jobs completed and returned the same day. The company has built a strong reputation for technical standards, fast turnaround times and long-term team development.

Technicians typically attend customer sites in pairs, with a company vehicle provided for daily use from the facility. Overnight travel is limited, with less than 10% of work requiring an overnight stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration work across a range of equipment and instruments
• Travel to customer sites as required, usually alongside another technician
• Maintain high technical and quality standards
• Support quick turnaround times and strong customer service delivery
• Represent the business professionally on customer sites
• Work both independently and as part of a wider technical team

Experience Required

Candidates with experience in any of the following areas would be highly relevant:

• Pipe equipment
• Hi-pot equipment
• Electronic instrumentation
• Oscilloscopes
• Military PMEL equipment
• General calibration and metrology equipment
