About the Company

A high-growth advanced materials business is seeking a Chief Revenue Officer to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic customer development across North America. Operating within the powder metallurgy space, the company supplies high-performance material solutions into aerospace and defense, medical, and other technically demanding manufacturing sectors. This is a key executive hire for a business entering its next phase of commercial scale-up.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for a commercially driven executive with a strong metals background and proven experience in powder metallurgy. The successful candidate will lead go-to-market strategy, build commercial infrastructure, and develop strategic customer relationships in highly regulated, specification-led markets. Working closely with executive leadership, this individual will help shape commercial direction, improve revenue performance, and position the business for long-term growth across North America.

Key Responsibilities

The Chief Revenue Officer will be responsible for developing and executing a commercial growth strategy aligned with ambitious revenue objectives. This will include identifying and prioritising high-value target markets, customers, and applications, driving new business acquisition, and strengthening strategic key accounts. The role will also involve leading complex commercial negotiations, securing long-term customer agreements, and building structured pricing and value-based selling approaches to improve profitability and support sustainable expansion.

Alongside market growth, the role will focus on building scalable commercial systems and processes to support a fast-growing business. This includes introducing discipline around pipeline management, forecasting, and sales performance tracking, while improving CRM usage, reporting accuracy, and commercial analytics. The successful candidate will develop frameworks for account segmentation, pricing, and revenue planning, and work closely with leadership and marketing to strengthen brand positioning and market messaging.

As a senior executive, this person will play a central role in building and developing a high-performing commercial function. This will include recruiting, mentoring, and developing senior sales and business development talent, while creating performance-driven structures, incentives, and accountability measures. The position requires someone who can foster a culture of urgency, collaboration, and commercial excellence while balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

The role will also contribute significantly to strategic market positioning. This includes monitoring market trends, customer demand, competitive activity, and emerging technologies, and providing leadership with clear commercial insight around growth priorities and investment focus. Working cross-functionally with operations, technical, and product teams, the Chief Revenue Officer will ensure commercial strategy is aligned with production capability, customer requirements, and innovation plans, while helping shape the company’s long-term position within aerospace and defense, medical, and advanced manufacturing markets.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a proven senior commercial leader with significant experience in revenue, growth, or business leadership roles within metals, advanced metal materials, or technical manufacturing environments. A strong background in metals is essential, and direct experience in powder metallurgy is highly desirable. Candidates should also have a strong track record of selling into aerospace and defense and medical markets, particularly within highly regulated, specification-led environments.

The ideal individual will have demonstrated success in scaling commercial processes, infrastructure, and teams within a growth business. A strong understanding of CRM systems, forecasting, analytics, pricing strategy, margins, and profitability drivers is important, along with excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Why Join

This is an opportunity to take on a high-impact executive role in a fast-scaling business at an exciting stage of growth. The successful candidate will have the chance to influence commercial strategy at board and leadership level, shape expansion across critical industries including aerospace and defense and medical, and join a technically differentiated company operating in a high-potential market. Stock options are included as part of the opportunity.

Travel

This is a remote role based in the United States and will require significant domestic travel, along with occasional international travel as needed.
