Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Field Calibration Technician to join their growing technical services team in Edison, New Jersey.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a wide variety of test and measurement equipment across customer sites and laboratory environments, supporting organisations that rely on accurate and reliable calibration services.

Key Responsibilities

• Calibrate and adjust test and measurement equipment
• Deliver calibration services at customer locations
• Perform work across electrical, pressure, flow, dimensional, temperature, and humidity disciplines
• Produce calibration certificates and technical reports
• Research technical specifications and equipment requirements
• Maintain calibration standards and associated equipment
• Accurately record calibration data and maintain system records
• Support process improvements and technical development initiatives
• Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting quality standards

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Technology, Electronics, Instrumentation, or equivalent experience
• Experience within instrumentation, electronics, electrical technology, or test and measurement sectors
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Desirable Skills

• Experience across multiple calibration disciplines
• Knowledge of quality systems and industry standards
• Previous field service experience
• Continuous improvement mindset
