Salary: $90,000–$115,000 DOE

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced capital equipment from concept through production.

Working within a collaborative engineering environment, you’ll be responsible for designing high-precision machinery, supporting prototype builds, mentoring engineers and delivering innovative manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design complete machinery and mechanical systems from concept through production
• Develop detailed CAD models, assemblies and engineering drawings using SolidWorks
• Design structural machine components, tooling and mechanical systems
• Support prototyping, testing and commissioning activities
• Conduct engineering calculations and basic FEA
• Collaborate with Electrical, Applications and Manufacturing Engineering teams
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in design reviews
• Drive continuous improvement across engineering and manufacturing processes

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience designing capital equipment or complex machinery
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
• Advanced SolidWorks skills
• AutoCAD knowledge
• Basic FEA experience
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and DFM
• Excellent communication and project management skills
