Maintenance Technician in Dayton, Ohio.

This is a hands-on role for a Maintenance Technician, maintaining and repairing advanced autonomous material-handling equipment while working closely with on-site teams and acting as a link between the customer and our engineering/service organization.

DAY-TO-DAY OF THE ROLE

• Maintain and repair a fleet of robotic forklifts at primary and secondary customer sites (occasional travel required)
• Troubleshoot and service robotic lift truck equipment including lasers, sensors and communication systems
• Perform preventive maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, replacement of worn parts)
• Document action plans, interventions and resolutions for support services
• Calibrate robotic AGVs to ensure optimal performance
• Conduct routine inspections, testing and quality checks
• Perform robot retrofits and hardware upgrades
• Support installation phases and project ramp-up
• Provide on-the-job training to customer users
• Test new hardware and support continuous improvement initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree a plus)

SKILLS YOU NEED

• 1‑3 years of mechanical experience in automotive, aviation, forklift or related maintenance
• Solid knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and charging systems
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check
