Manufacturing Engineer – Machining & Continuous Improvement

We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a global industrial manufacturing organisation supporting machining and assembly operations within a high-mix production environment.

This role focuses on manufacturing process development, fixture design, Lean Manufacturing initiatives, and operational improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing methods and process routing
• Design fixtures for machining operations
• Create Standard Work and process documentation
• Support CNC programming and production improvements
• Lead setup reduction and Kaizen initiatives
• Improve manufacturing workflow and operational efficiency
• Support MRP updates and manufacturing planning

Requirements

• Experience within manufacturing engineering
• Strong understanding of machining and assembly processes
• Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T
• Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Engineering or Manufacturing Technology degree
• CNC programming exposure
• Experience within low-volume, high-mix manufacturing
